Barahona.– In a day marked by technological momentum and community development, the Community Technology Center (CTC) of Cabral awarded 140 certificates to community members who successfully completed the training for the Cabral Emprende 2026 Bootcamp.
The training offer included areas such as Design and Sublimation and Digital 3D Design and Modeling, corresponding to the STEM Career Program, as well as Sales Forecasting and its Target Audience, from the HP LIFE Technological Employment Program.
As part of the strategic commitments established in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP 2026) regarding inclusion and innovation, the Youth in ICT Community and the Youth Entrepreneur Network were officially sworn in during the meeting.
Both initiatives seek to actively integrate the area’s youth into the center’s educational offerings and turn the CTC Cabral facilities into a meeting point, collaborative workspace, and coworking space, oriented towards productivity and local development.
Representing the general director of the CTCs, Isidro Torres, the institutional delegation was led by Manelix de León, Operations coordinator, and Atahualpa Pérez, Center Management coordinator.

The articulation and execution of the activity in the territory were in charge of the local manager, Karilissa Féliz, under the supervision of the South 3 zonal coordinator, Jerrifer de Jesús, together with the center’s team of technical facilitators, including Juan Salazar.
The event featured a large representation of personalities and allied institutions from the province, including Colonel Delvy Lajara Tavárez, journalist Hércules Urbáez, and René Miranda, as well as an official delegation from the Polo City Hall and young people belonging to the Little Flock Church.
As part of the institutional agenda to strengthen territorial and educational alliances, CTC authorities held a strategic meeting with Brailin Yapul, director of the 01-04 Educational District of Cabral, during which the foundations were established to coordinate future training actions aimed at students from educational centers in the area.
Likewise, in recognition of the private sector’s commitment to community technical innovation, the company Yafrank received a special distinction for its constant support to the Cabral CTC.
