Santo Domingo.- The model and beauty queen Skarxi Marte, one of the favorites of the reality show of the Telemundo network, “Miss Universe Latina; El Reality”, was the penultimate eliminated from the competition on Sunday night, just hours before the grand final.
Skarxi, Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2023, made it to the Top 10 of
Miss Universe Latina, however, despite her admirable qualities for the crown and being one of the most popular in the show, she could not advance to the final phase.
The elimination of Skarxi was a big surprise for the reality show fans, internet users on social media, and even for the captain of Team Ruby, Miss Universe 2020, Andrea Meza, who with a surprised look couldn’t help but feel confused by the judges’ decision.
After his disqualification, Marte failed to continue alongside Yamilex Hernandez and Gemmy Quelliz, the two Dominicans who remain in the competition and could become the winners of the coveted crown.
“I’ve seen the program and it really seems so absurd every day, they’ve removed women with great preparation, including Skarxi, it seems absurd to me,” says one of the thousands of comments left on the official Telemundo Realitys page.
Skarxi Marte, model, beauty queen and Top 5 of Miss Grand International 2023, despite her exit from the reality show and not achieving the opportunity to become the representative of the Latin community in Miss Universe 2025, managed to connect with thousands of fans and viewers of the show, who saw her as a possible winner of the crown or one of the closest to it.
