Content creator Ashley Montero has joined the reality show Planeta Alofoke as a new participant in the digital project led by businessman Santiago Matías, known as Alofoke.

Her arrival surprised everyone present, as she greeted each of the participants, except for content creator Steven Brito, better known as Carecantina, with whom she had a close friendship in the past. At one point, there were even rumors of a possible romantic relationship between the two.

The moment became one of the most tense of the program during Wednesday’s broadcast. Josell Hernández, the reality show host, noticed the situation and asked Ashley directly what was happening between them for her to decide to ignore him and leave his hand extended.

When asked, Ashley replied that she does not agree with the behavior that Carecantina has shown within the competition. As she explained, the attitudes and behaviors he had in the past are still present, even though he has insisted that he has changed.

The statement left both the participants and the viewers of the reality show surprised, as they were unaware of the background of the situation. Until now, the alleged relationship between Ashley and Carecantina had always remained a rumor and was never publicly confirmed.

For his part, Carecantina responded that he is focused on his in-game strategy and that he will not allow anyone to distract him from his goal. Likewise, he assured that the opinions of others are not a priority for him at this moment.

Ashley’s entry came at an emotionally complicated time for Steven, as hours earlier Hasly, who had been his partner for several years, had left the competition. The young woman’s departure had notably affected his mood within the reality show, a situation that many followers commented on social media.

Several years ago, Ashley Montero and Carecantina were part of the first generation of prominent tiktokers in the Dominican Republic, positioning themselves among the pioneers of the popular short-form video platform.
