Bouchot, 75, shared a photograph of herself wearing a hospital gown and with an intravenous line. In a message posted on Instagram, she reassured her followers while asking for their support.
“I’m fine and I’m going to be better. All your blessings are welcome. If you can send me kind thoughts and prayers, I would appreciate it,” Bouchot wrote.
Local media reported that the reason for her hospitalization and the type of procedure she would undergo had not been disclosed.
The actress has not provided additional details about her medical condition or the outcome of the procedure. As of the latest reports, it was therefore unknown whether the surgery had already taken place or how she was recovering.
