New York.- The song ‘Heil Hitler’ by rapper Ye -better known as Kanye West-, in which the artist glorifies the Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and whose cover is a swastika, is garnering millions of views on X, while other platforms such as Spotify or Soundcloud have removed it from their applications.
The music video for the song, in which a group of African-American men chant in unison the Nazi salute ‘Heil Hitler!’, was shared on X last Thursday by West himself and has already garnered 7.4 million views and over 85,000 ‘likes’ on this social network.
The song, released along with the single ‘WW3’ (‘Third World War’) – in whose lyrics it also mentions Hitler and claims to have voted for Trump in the last elections – was removed moments later by platforms such as Spotify, Youtube or Soundcloud.
“‘Heil Hitler’ by Ye has been banned on all digital streaming platforms, while ‘Rednecks’ by Randy Newman remains available. They literally keep Black people down,” the controversial rapper complained on his X profile.
Newman’s song -a white man- includes the word “nigger”, a racist slur historically used to attack African American people.
West’s video can also be found on Facebook, owned by Meta, re-uploaded by several profiles on this social network.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has opened a petition to demand that Meta’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, restore its policy against hate speech.
Last January, the company modified its conduct policy and allowed, for example, that on its social networks one can call LGBT+ people “mentally ill” or oppose the presence of women in military organizations or security forces.

For his part, this is not Ye’s first controversy, who last February stated in a series of posts also on X that he is a Nazi and that he controlled his then-partner, model Bianca Censori.
The singer then lashed out at the owner of X, Elon Musk, and the Jewish community, and even claimed that “he loved Hitler” and that he was a Nazi.
