Model divorces ‘crypto millionaire’ after discovering his fortune was actually just $3

British model Katie Price, 48, has ended her eight-month marriage to Lee Andrews, 43, after allegedly discovering that the cryptocurrency fortune he claimed to have was not what he had represented.

Andrews reportedly told Price that he owned a cryptocurrency wallet containing $50 million and even provided her with access credentials so she could transfer part of the funds. However, a financial expert hired by the celebrity allegedly found that the account contained only $3, according to The Sun.

Following the discovery, Price reportedly ended the relationship through a WhatsApp message, accusing Andrews of deceiving her and repeatedly lying.

Investigations by people close to the model reportedly found that the highest balance recorded in the account occurred in March, when $14,490 was deposited and withdrawn on the same day.

Andrews is currently being held at Al Awir Prison in the United Arab Emirates, where he faces three civil cases and financial difficulties related to paying a fine required for his release. His arrest was reportedly linked to unpaid debts to a vehicle rental company.

He has also faced multiple fraud allegations from former partners. Among the accusations and police investigations associated with his history are an alleged $165,000 fraud involving a U.S. investor, an allegedly forged mortgage worth nearly $270,000 in another former wife’s name, and the alleged use of AI-generated images to falsely portray business partnerships with public figures including Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.

The allegations have not been independently established as facts, and Andrews’ current legal status does not by itself establish guilt.
