SANTO DOMINGO. – The Arena de Santo Domingo, a new entertainment center in the Dominican capital, will be ready in two months and will be inaugurated on October 17th with a concert by the group Rebelde Way. The businessman and producer Saymon Díaz, creator of the project, reported that the new arena will have the capacity to accommodate up to 12,000 people, which positions it as one of the most important infrastructures for large events in the city.

Located on Jacobo Majluta Avenue, in front of the Jardín Memorial cemetery, in Santo Domingo Norte, the Arena de Santo Domingo will operate under a modern giant tent setup, allowing great versatility for different types of shows. Díaz highlighted that this infrastructure will not only serve for its own productions, but will be open to other producers in the country, in a context where large-capacity spaces for the realization of cultural and artistic events are scarce.

“We are very excited to make available to the country a first-class space for entertainment, and that it is also a solution for other producer colleagues who face logistical limitations,” Díaz expressed.
