Astronomer, the company specializing in data orchestration solutions, announced that its CEO, Andy Byron, has been placed on administrative leave with immediate effect, following the circulation of a viral video recorded during a Coldplay concert.
Along with Byron, the Director of Human Resources, Kristin Cabot, was also administratively suspended. According to the company, the Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation to clarify the facts.
So far, Astronomer has not issued any further public statements regarding the content of the video or possible links to the company’s internal management.
