At least 11 civilians wounded in a Houthi attack in a Saudi Arabian area bordering Yemen

Cairo.- At least 11 civilians were wounded this Thursday in an “indiscriminate” attack carried out by the Houthi rebels of Yemen against the Najran region, in the southwest of Saudi Arabia and bordering Yemeni territory, amid an escalation of violence between the insurgents and Riyadh.
The spokesperson for the Coalition Forces to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Saudi Major General Turki al-Maliki, said in a statement that among the wounded are seven citizens of the Arab kingdom, one Yemeni, two Egyptians, and one Pakistani, who suffered injuries from the “terrorist attacks” by the Houthis.
“The Houthi terrorist militia carried out these attacks through the indiscriminate launching of projectiles against civilian property and facilities,” added the spokesperson, who denounced that this action constitutes “a flagrant violation” of international humanitarian law by targeting civilians and vital facilities.
