Washington.- The police arrested this Sunday a man accused of the attack in Colorado after setting fire to several people in a commercial area in Boulder, an event that left multiple injured and that the FBI has already described as a “terrorist attack”.
The authorities are “working” to identify the attacker and have not yet found a motive, according to the Boulder police chief, Stephen Redfearn, who reported this in a press conference.“When we arrived at the area, we found several victims who have injuries consistent with burns,” Redfearn recounted, adding that several people are seriously injured.
Authorities responded to emergency calls in the Pearl Street area of Boulder, a university town west of Denver, around 13:00 local time (19:00 GMT) this Sunday.FBI Director Kash Patel announced this afternoon that his agency is already investigating the incident as a “deliberate terrorist attack” and deployed several agents to the region.

Several of the injured in the Colorado attack were participating in a peaceful protest in favor of Israel, according to Redfearn.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an organization dedicated to combating “anti-Semitism” and promoting pro-Israel policies, confirmed on its X account that the attack took place during an event of the “Jewish community” to call for the release of the hostages who remain in the hands of Hamas.
