A student in Ecuador was caught insulting her professor during a virtual class after failing to realize that her microphone was still on.
The incident occurred during an online session at a university institute in Guayaquil. In a recording, the professor can be heard discussing an academic evaluation with the student before the young woman says, “Vieja puta.”
“¿Perdón?”, the professor responds, visibly surprised.
The student then tried to explain that she had been speaking to her husband. However, the professor warned her that she would report the incident.
