New York. – United States carried out ten attacks against more than thirty infrastructure targets of the terrorist group Islamic State (IS) in Syria between February 3 and 14, as reported this Saturday by the United States Central Command (Centcom).

The Centcom previously reported five other attacks carried out in Syria between January 27 and February 2, in which it destroyed an ISIS communications center, a key logistics node, and weapons depots. “More than 50 ISIS terrorists have been killed or captured and about 100 EU infrastructure targets have been destroyed with hundreds of precision municipalities during two months of focused operations”, the note indicates. US forces and their allies launched Operation Hawkeye Strike in response to an ISIS attack in Palmyra on December 13th, in which two Iowa National Guard soldiers and a US interpreter were killed.
