Trump vows to find those responsible for Kirk’s murder in Utah

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, promised this Wednesday that his administration will find those responsible for the murder of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk on a university campus in Utah.
In a video posted on his social media, Trump assured that his government will “pursue the culprits” and preserve Kirk’s legacy, whom he described as “a patriot and defender of freedom of expression.”You may be interested in: http://Conmoción por la muerte de Charlie Kirk en medio del aumento de la violencia política
“God bless America,” he concluded in his approximately four-minute statement broadcast on his social media and on those of the White House. The leader expressed “his sorrow” for Kirk’s death and called him a “champion” in the work of “guiding young people” in the country’s politics. Trump took the opportunity to blame “this violence” on the rhetoric of the radical left, and mentioned attacks against conservatives at other times in history and in different parts of the country. The attack occurred in an auditorium at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was participating in an event with students. According to the authorities, an armed man opened fire, possibly from a roof, and a bullet hit the activist in the neck, causing his death shortly after in a nearby hospital. The suspect was apprehended hours later and is in FBI custody, which is investigating the motives for the shooting. Charlie Kirk, 31, was the founder of Turning Point USA, an influential conservative organization focused on university activism. Born in Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago, he grew up in a middle-class family and showed an interest in politics from a young age. Over time, she became one of the most recognized voices of the youth conservative movement in the United States, close to President Trump.#Most read
