The historic Dominican pitcher reached the milestone in less time than Nolasco, achieving 1,002 strikeouts in 186 starts and 1,177 innings pitched since his arrival to the team in 2018. For his part, Nolasco accumulated 1,001 strikeouts in 213 games and 1,225.2 innings between 2006 and 2013.
