Dominican Republic confirms its champion

The Leones del Escogido secured their ticket to Jalisco after conquering their eighteenth national crown, after defeating 1-0 the Toros del Este in the fifth game of the Final Series, played at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium. The only run of the game came in the first inning, the result of consecutive singles by Héctor Rodríguez and Erick González, combined with productive groundouts by Sócrates Brito and Junior Lake. The victory was backed by a solid performance by the pitching staff, led by Jefry Yan, who earned the win, and Matt Foster, who recorded the save. The player Alcides Escobar was chosen Most Valuable Player of the Final Series, after recording a .333 average, five RBIs, a home run, an OPS of .833 and an outstanding defensive performance at third base.

Mexico presents its selections

The Mexican Pacific League will be represented by Mexico Rojo (Charros de Jalisco) and Mexico Verde (Tomateros de Culiacán), whose official rosters have already been announced. Charros will have a roster reinforced by players from various organizations, while Tomateros will integrate a balanced squad with extensive international experience. Both teams present a high number of players with previous participations in the Caribbean Series, which strengthens their aspirations in the tournament.

Puerto Rico aims for title 17

The Cangrejeros de Santurce, champions of the Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (LBPRC), are preparing from the Roberto Clemente Walker Stadium in Carolina, with nine reinforcements and their sights set on conquering the 17th Caribbean title for Puerto Rico, the first since 2018. The Puerto Rican team will debut on Sunday against Mexico Verde, at 1:00 p.m., with broadcast by WAPA Deportes.

Panama returns to the Caribbean Classic

The Federales de Chiriquí return to the Caribbean Series for their fourth participation, led by José Mayorga and with a roster composed entirely of Panamanian players. The team will rest on the opening day and will debut on February 2nd against Charros de Jalisco.

Venezuela defines its representative

In the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), the Navegantes del Magallanes took the lead in the first game of the Final Series by defeating 12-4 Caribes de Anzoátegui, in a series agreed to the best of seven games.
