Pedro Brand. – The representative of Pimentel, Duarte province, was proclaimed champion of the 5th. U10 National Championship and took home the Nelson Cruz cup after defeating the Cotuí team in an exciting 7-4 match at the facilities of the Dominican Republic Army.

The event dedicated to Norma Díaz and organized by the Dominican Baseball Federation, began last Sunday, November 9th, with 66 teams, and only three made it to the grand final, where they played in a league format to decide the champion.
La Liga Serrano, by way of an 8-0 knockout over the Liga Norma Diaz, won their first game, while Cotuí also defeated Norma Díaz 15 runs to 7.
In an epic Cibaeña final, those from Sánchez Ramírez, Cotuí, returned with the silver and in turn the Norma Díaz League took the bronze.
The Iron Lady, Norma Díaz, to whom the event was dedicated this year, was present in the first two matches of the final.
José Luis Vargas, pitcher for La Liga Serra, lifted the Most Valuable Player trophy of the final, while Willy Rodríguez was the champion manager.
This U10 National Championship marks the end of this 2025 development and invitation tournaments held by Fedom and its head Juan Núñez.
