Perdomo, recognized for his solid defense, versatility in the infield, and high game sense, was officially announced as part of the Dominican roster that will compete in the international event, adding depth and balance to the infield of the Quisqueyano team. The Dominican shortstop has established himself in the Major Leagues as a reliable player both defensively and in team situations, qualities highly valued in short tournaments like the World Baseball Classic, where every play can make a difference. The confirmation of Perdomo comes in a context in which the national team already has star figures like Fernando Tatis Jr., Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and other outstanding MLB players, forming a roster that combines talent, youth and international experience. The Dominican Republic will debut in Group D of the World Baseball Classic on March 6, when it faces Nicaragua at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) at loanDepot park in Miami, beginning the path towards the conquest of a new world crown.
