Santiago, R.D. – Las Águilas Cibaeñas, one of the most emblematic teams in Dominican professional baseball, have called their annual general assembly for Saturday, June 14, as announced through a notice published in various national media this Thursday, May 22.

The call was signed by the team president, Víctor García Sued, who is currently in his third year at the head of the institution. The meeting agenda includes several topics of interest, including the presentation of the financial report and the administration report corresponding to the last period.

However, the most anticipated point will be the election of the new Board of Directors for the period 2025-2026. Las Águilas Cibaeñas elect their president and board of directors each year, so this assembly will define the administrative direction of the team for the upcoming season.

Although García Sued has not publicly confirmed whether he will seek reelection, he has expressed that the final decision will depend on the partners summoned to the assembly.

With 22 championships in its history, the Cibao team seeks to regain the path to success after several seasons without reaching the final series.
