CLEVELAND. – The New York Knicks are one win away from playing in their first NBA Finals since 1999 after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 on Saturday in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Guided by Jalen Brunson’s 30 points, the New Yorkers took a 3-0 lead in the series, a difference that no team has managed to overcome in the history of the NBA playoffs.
OG Anunoby scored 21 points for the Knicks, who continue to go through an extraordinary collective moment and extended their winning streak to ten consecutive victories in this postseason.
Dominican-American Karl-Anthony Towns also played an important role in the victory, finishing with 13 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, excelling in offensive creation and ball movement.
By Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell led the offense with 23 points, while James Harden added 19, although the Cavaliers again showed problems with effectiveness from the three-point line and were never able to take control of the match.

The match also featured the presence of singer Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce, who watched the duel from the front row of the Rocket Arena.
The Knicks dominated much of the game and maintained the defensive intensity that has characterized the team during the postseason, leaving Cleveland against the ropes.
Now, the Cavaliers will need to win four consecutive games to avoid elimination and keep their aspirations of advancing to the NBA Finals alive.
