LeBron James raises doubts about his future: “I have no idea, I just want to live”

Inglewood (USA).- The star of Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James sowed doubts this Sunday about his continuity in basketball by stating that he is not sure about his future for next season and emphasized that the only thing he is thinking about is living.

“I just want to live, when I’m clear about it, I’ll let you know. I have no idea, I just want to live”, the player indicated in a press conference during the NBA All-Star game that takes place this Sunday at the Intuit Dome stadium in Inglewood (California).

James added that he has “many things on the table” that he will explore once he feels his time on the court has concluded and that among them are his aspirations to be part of the NBA’s board of directors. “There are also other companies that I will continue to explore to see what will motivate me in my later career, but right now I am still focused on the present, and that is what I have in mind,” he said. Although his priority, once he retires from basketball, will be to focus on his family: “One of my passions is to create memories that last forever,” he stated.

The Lakers star defended during his intervention the new format of this edition of All-Star, a kind of USA against the world, although he prefers the East Coast against West Coast competition that was played in previous years. “I like the East-West format, but they’re trying something new, let’s see what happens. United States against the world… the world is gigantic beyond the United States. I’m trying to figure out how it makes sense, so we’ll see what happens with this,” he stated
