Paris (EFE).- Moroccan Achraf Hakimi is on the list of players called up by Luis Enrique to face Monaco this Wednesday in the second leg of the Champions League play-offs, one day after he was summoned by a court to be tried for
an alleged rape reported by a young woman.

The 27-year-old footballer appealed the decision of the investigating judges to send him to trial.
Meanwhile, the club is trying to protect its player, the team’s second captain, relying on the presumption of innocence.
Hakimi could start at the Parc des Princes against Monaco, in the match in which the Parisians aim to seal their place in the Champions League round of 16 after having won at the Louis II by 2-3.
Officially, PSG has not made any comment since the Moroccan was accused of rape in February 2023 and the coach, Luis Enrique, limited himself to commenting that the case is “in the hands of justice” during the press conference prior to the match against Monaco.
Through social media, Hakimi denied the accusations, which he considered that “everything shows that they are false” and indicated that he is facing this situation “calmly” while waiting for “the truth to resurface publicly”.
