The moment of highest viewership occurred at 19:59, coinciding with the final stretch of the match played by La Roja. At that instant, 8.66 million people were watching the broadcast on TVE’s La 1.

The report also points out that 14.1 million unique viewers followed at least one of the World Cup matches broadcast during Sunday’s schedule by La 1, DAZN Mundial, and Teledeporte, a figure that represents nearly 30% of the Spanish population.

Since the start of the World Cup on June 11th, more than 26.6 million people in Spain have watched at least some part of the competition, reflecting the enormous impact the tournament is having among fans.
