A flash flood and landslide suddenly struck Tanlongqiao village in Zhejiang, China, leaving one person dead and three others missing. Rescue operations are underway.
Heavy rains continue to affect several regions of China, causing rising rivers, flooding and evacuations.
In Henan, more than 6,500 people were evacuated to safer areas after heavy rainfall caused water levels to rise, including the overflow of waterways and the breach of a dike.
Authorities are maintaining emergency operations in Hubei and other central regions, where rainfall linked to the remnants of Typhoon Dolphin has also caused significant flooding.
