Santo Domingo.- An 18-year-old woman remains in critical condition at the Burn Unit of the City Health Center, after suffering severe burns during an alleged assault.
The victim, identified as Estefani Valle, has deep second-degree burns affecting 12% of her body surface, and therefore remains under specialized medical care.
According to her relatives, the incident allegedly occurred when another young woman, 19, reportedly threw a flammable substance at her due to romantic motives.
Valle’s relatives requested financial aid to be able to cover the costs of his medical treatment and progress.

Likewise, they hold a young woman identified as Isabel Montero responsible for the assault, an accusation that must be established by the corresponding authorities.
