Washington.- Donald Trump’s administration has revoked this year 85,000 visas to foreign citizens, including those of 8,000 international students, the United States Department of State informed the press this Monday. An official from that department assured that the number of canceled visas is more than double that recorded the previous year, under the Joe Biden administration, although he did not specify the exact number. The official confirmed that having worked on verification platforms to combat misinformation or content moderation may constitute grounds for denial, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio instructed last May to ban entry to the country to those who “censor Americans“.
