Santo Domingo. — A person lost their life in circumstances not yet specified at kilometer 9 of the Duarte highway, in an event that occurred in recent hours.
The victim’s body remains on the pavement awaiting the corresponding procedures by the authorities, which has generated difficulties in vehicular traffic in the area.
Units from the National Emergency and Security Attention System 911, as well as agents from the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (DIGESETT), who are working on traffic management and the investigation of the incident, were present at the scene.
Authorities are expected to offer more details about what happened in the coming hours.
