Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader expressed his solidarity with Colombia this Monday following the earthquake that affected several areas of that country and stated his willingness to provide assistance from the Dominican Republic.
The president used his account on the social network X to send a message of support to the Colombian people and express his condolences to the people affected by the phenomenon.
Abinader indicated that his thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the communities facing the consequences of the earthquake.
“On behalf of the Dominican people, I express our deepest solidarity with Colombia regarding the earthquake that has impacted different regions of the country,” expressed the head of state.
Likewise, he assured that the Dominican Republic stands with Colombia at this moment and is willing to collaborate with any support that may be required in the face of the emergency.
