Azua.- President Luis Abinader delivered the Las Yayas de Viajama High School, which will accommodate more than 595 students in a total of 17 classrooms, impacting the Las Yayas de Viajama, Hato Nuevo, and Villarpando sectors.
“Education is the most important cause in our country,” reiterated the Minister of Education, Luis Miguel De Camps, who, at the same time, expressed that each classroom is a promise fulfilled and a responsibility with the future of the nation, to continue promoting development and progress.
“I invite each student to become citizens who contribute and serve the nation,” concluded the minister.
The educational center will allow for comprehensive training in which students will also have access to science and computer labs. In addition, for their recreation and rest they will have green areas, games and a civic plaza.
In addition, a teachers’ lounge, nursing area, guidance office, and other spaces were enabled. The investment in this center amounts to RD 103,778,890.04.
