The Investment Fund Management Company Reservas (AFI Reservas) consolidated its leadership in anti-bribery management by receiving the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification, granted by the renowned international firm TÜV NORD, which accredits the implementation of a system aligned with this international standard.
With this achievement, AFI Reservas becomes the first investment fund management company in the Dominican Republic to obtain this certification, reaffirming its commitment to the best practices of compliance, ethics, and transparency.
The certificate was received by Leandro José Villanueva, executive vice president of AFI Reservas, and Carolina Germán, Compliance manager of the entity.
For the process, AFI Banreservas had the support and supervision of Heiromy Castro, Vice President of Compliance, and Marbel Güílamo Peña, Director of Ethical, Anti-Corruption, and Anti-Bribery Compliance at the Bank.
Obtaining this certification reaffirms AFI Reservas’ commitment to ethics, transparency, responsible management, and best corporate governance practices, strengthening its position as a company of the Reservas Family.
Likewise, this distinction contributes to strengthening the culture of integrity and transparency in the country, aligned with the highest international standards for the prevention of bribery and corruption.
ISO 37001 certification covers two fundamental processes for the organization: personnel onboarding and supplier relationships, key processes supported by robust controls and a continuous monitoring system that ensures compliance with established guidelines.
