Las Terrenas, Samaná. In an important activity that brought together leaders, supporters, friends, and representatives from various sectors of the municipality, the former mayor of Las Terrenas, Alex García, officially announced his aspirations for the mayoralty of that district for the 2028 elections.
The meeting, held at his residence, was attended by prominent leaders of the Fuerza del Pueblo, community leaders, and close collaborators, who expressed their support for the former municipal executive’s aspirations.
During his speech, Garcia highlighted the multiple difficulties currently facing the tourist municipality of Las Terrenas, pointing out problems related to traffic, road infrastructure, drinking water supply, urban growth, and other essential services that, he stated, require immediate attention to ensure the sustainable development of the community.
Likewise, he/she thanked those present for their support and expressed his/her commitment to work together with the different sectors of society to promote solutions to the main needs of the municipality.
