New York.- E-commerce giant Amazon reached an all-time high this Monday, surpassing $3 trillion in market capitalization, driven by the strong quarterly results it released last week.
At 11:29 local time (15:29 GMT), the company’s shares were up 5% and trading at $285.66 per share.
In total, it reached a market capitalization of 3.06 trillion dollars, placing it as the fifth most valuable listed company in the market, behind Nvidia, Alphabet, Apple, and Microsoft.
Amazon’s second quarter results
According to the specialized press, the company’s stock market rise is due to its second-quarter results, published last Thursday, in which it obtained a profit of 62.647 billion dollars, 244% more year-on-year, and a turnover of 200.606 billion, 20% more, above market expectations.
Amazon President and CEO Andy Jassy highlighted in a statement the performance of the cloud computing platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), which grew by 36.7% between March and June, with revenues of $42.2 billion.

In addition, Amazon’s artificial intelligence (AI) and chip businesses, which include Graviton and Trainium, each surpassed an annual revenue run rate of more than $25 billion.
On the other hand, between January and June of this year, the tech company earned 92.902 billion dollars, 163% more than in the same semester of 2025, and recorded a turnover of 382.125 billion dollars, 18% more.
