United States. – Journalist, digital communication strategist, and president of the Dominican Society of Digital Media (SODOMEDI), Amelia Reyes, was recognized for her outstanding career and contributions to the development of journalism and digital communication during the Entre Copas USA Awards ceremony, held in New York City.
The ceremony brought together business owners, entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders of the Latino community to recognize the talent, excellence, and impact of individuals who, from different areas, contribute to the growth of their communities.
Upon receiving the distinction, Reyes thanked the organizers for valuing the work of those who strive to strengthen communication and entrepreneurship, highlighting that this recognition represents a boost to continue contributing to the development of the digital ecosystem.
“I receive this recognition with deep gratitude and humility. It is an honor that the work we have done in digital journalism is valued, a space that allows us to inform, connect, and generate opportunities for thousands of people,” he/she expressed.
Likewise, he stated that the award strengthens his commitment to continue promoting professionalization, ethics, and innovation in digital media, especially from the presidency of SODOMEDI.
“This award inspires me to continue taking firm steps in favor of digital media, promoting training, ethics, and the growth of our communicators and entrepreneurs,” he stated.
With over 15 years of experience in strategic communication, digital marketing, and public relations, Amelia Reyes has established herself as one of the leading drivers of digital journalism in the Dominican Republic.
