At least two people died and five were injured this Tuesday in two Israeli attacks against two vehicles in the towns of Al Tayeb and Sablain, located in the south of Lebanon, official sources reported.
The first attack occurred “against a vehicle on the Al Adaysseh-Markab road in the Marjayoun district resulted in the death of a citizen,” stated the Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health in a statement, without giving further details about the deceased.
The second aggression incident targeted a pickup truck in the town of Sablain, in the Chouf district, in which one person died and five were injured, the department added.

The Israeli army had previously announced that it attacked two alleged members of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah in Al Tayeb and Sablain, both locations in southern Lebanon.

Despite the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which marked one year since its entry into force at the end of November, the bombings by the Israeli Army in Lebanese territory, where it still maintains positions near the border, are practically daily and especially intense for weeks.
Israel killed 380 alleged Hezbollah members since the truce began, the Israeli Armed Forces recently indicated in a statement in which they accused the Shiite group of violating the truce agreement on 1,900 occasions.
Meanwhile, the United Nations denounced that, so far, at least 127 civilians had died in the almost daily attacks against Lebanon.
