International Editorial.- At least nine people died and 47 were injured in Lebanon in new bombings by Israel, which threatened on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday with attacks in the south of Beirut and ordered the forced displacement of citizens.
The deadliest bombings took place in the southern town of Habush, where three people died and 18 were injured; and in the town of Adloun, in which four citizens lost their lives and another was injured.
According to the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon, another Israeli attack against Mieh Mieh resulted in two deaths and four injuries; and a bombing against the city of Tyre with 24 injuries.
More than 1,070 people have died in Lebanon due to Israeli bombings since the beginning of the war, which has also caused the displacement of hundreds of thousands of citizens.
Israel re-issued “evacuation orders” for Lebanon, this time for seven areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut, including Haret Hreik, Yobeiri, and Laylaki.
Spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated on social media that the Israeli Army will continue attacking in that area the “military infrastructure” of the Shiite group Hezbollah.
For its part, Hezbollah reported the attack with rockets and artillery shells against a concentration of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli Army in the city of Taybe, in southern Lebanon, as well as Israeli military infrastructure in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
