SANTO DOMINGO.– Iconic former players from FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will face each other in the Dominican Republic on March 14, when both legends teams will play a match at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium, starting at 7:30 PM.

The event, called “Night of Legends”, was officially presented by CBR Productions, in coordination with FC Barcelona and the Association of Former Real Madrid Players, as an activity that will bring together historical figures from two of the most influential institutions in world football.Among the players announced by Barcelona Legends are Yaya Touré, Philippe Cocu, Frank de Boer, Rafa Márquez and Javier Saviola. For their part, the Real Madrid Legends will feature the participation of Pepe, Fernando Morientes, Claude Makélélé, Iván Campo, Marcelo and Iker Casillas, among other former footballers.
During the event presentation, organization representatives highlighted the importance of bringing this type of meetings to the country, which has shown a growing interest in international football. The Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium, with an approximate capacity for 23 thousand spectators, is currently undergoing adaptation in preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, scheduled to take place between July 24th and August 8th. Tickets for the match are now available to the public, with prices ranging from RD$3,830 to RD$30,000, through the UEPA Tickets platform.
