Puerto Plata.- A chilling silence and unusual calm took over this Wednesday the rural community of Barrero, in the municipality of Imbert, after the authorities identified two uncles of the three-year-old girl Brianna Genao Rosario as the alleged responsible for her murder and subsequent burial, after being missing since December 31, 2025.

The individuals identified are Rafael Rosario Núñez, alias Papito, 52 years old, and Reyes Rosario Núñez, 43, both direct relatives of the minor. According to the National Police, the two men are in custody at the police headquarters in Puerto Plata, while the Public Ministry deepens the investigations of the case.
