Coercion measure against soldier for teenager’s death will be known this Thursday

San Francisco de Macorís. – The judicial authorities of San Francisco de Macorís will hear this Thursday the coercion measure against a military man accused of allegedly causing the fall of a motorcycle on which the teenager Ángel Manuel Luna, 16 years old, was traveling, who died as a result of the incident.

The hearing will take place at the courthouse in this city, where family members of the victim, as well as representatives of popular and community organizations, have announced that they will follow the judicial process.

The case has generated outrage in different sectors of San Francisco de Macorís, where citizens have held vigils, candle lightings, and demonstrations to demand justice for the death of the minor.
