Cruz Jiminián reveals he studied to be a priest and talks about temptations in the Church
Santo Domingo.– The renowned Dominican doctor and philanthropist Félix Antonio Cruz Jiminián surprised with personal revelations during an interview on the program Versión Original, hosted by Moisés Salcé and broadcast by Telemicro, where he confessed that in his youth he studied to be a priest and spoke openly about the temptations within the priesthood.
During the conversation, Cruz Jiminián explained that he grew up in a deeply Christian environment, where the recitation of the rosary was part of the daily family routine, a situation that led him to make the decision to enter the seminary at 14 years of age.
The doctor revealed that he studied for four years at the Santo Tomás de Aquino Seminary, and clarified that his departure from religious formation was not related to women, as many people usually speculate.
“I didn’t go out because of women. Priests like women, let’s be clear,” he stated directly during the interview, generating reactions due to the sincerity of his statements.
