He explained that he avoids habits like drinking alcohol because he maintains a strict routine of work and medical service. “Every day I get up at four in the morning, 365 days a year, even when I’m sick, to make rounds,” said the doctor, highlighting the commitment he has maintained for decades with his patients and with the social work he carries out from his clinic in Cristo Rey.
