National District.– With the purpose of bringing quality health services to the most needy communities, Dr. Luis Cruz, together with the Cruz Jiminián Foundation, carried out an extensive medical operation in the Los Ríos sector of the National District.
The event was organized in coordination with the Sol de la Esperanza Neighborhood Association and took place at the facilities of the Profesor Germán Martínez Tavares High School, where more than 600 people were assisted and received free medical care and various health services.
During the operation, a team of professionals offered consultations in multiple specialties, including ophthalmology, cardiology (HCJ Center), gynecology, urology, pediatrics, general medicine, diabetology, gastroenterology, and dermatology.
Likewise, attendees had access to clinical laboratory services, medication delivery, and medical guidance, contributing to the prevention, timely diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions.
Dr. Luis Cruz highlighted the importance of continuing to develop these types of community initiatives, reaffirming his commitment and that of the Cruz Jiminián Foundation to provide comprehensive and humanized medical care to the most vulnerable sectors of the country.
The community members expressed their gratitude for the health fair, valuing the positive impact that free access to specialized consultations and quality medical services represents for the families in the sector.
“Luis Cruz thanked all the doctors and the neighborhood association, and at the same time said that these are medical outreach programs to educate, raise awareness, and prevent diseases in time, and he explained that health is a right and not a privilege nationwide,” the physician expressed.
