CTC celebrates 25 years with the presentation of 2025 results and the projection of 2026 goals

Santo Domingo. – The Community Technological Centers (CTC) held the 5th version of the National Results Presentation Meeting 2025 and Distribution of Goals 2026, a work day that brought together managers from the 107 centers, Compumetro staff, area coordinators and the team of the General Directorate. The event coincided with the commemoration of the institution’s 25th anniversary, an occasion on which a thanksgiving mass was celebrated. During the Eucharist and the commemorative act, the general director, Isidro Torres, urged young people to continue training and updating their knowledge in the areas of technology, highlighting the CTC’s commitment to the development of digital capabilities in the communities.

The Planning Department coordinated the national meeting, where topics related to institutional strengthening were presented, including:
• Progress recorded during 2025 within the framework of institutional strengthening. • Achievements of goals and their impact, presented by the Planning and Cabinet team. • Purchasing processes and their influence on institutional operability, presented by the Purchasing Department. • Presentation of the five most relevant challenges faced in each zone during 2025 and the five solutions implemented to overcome them. • Presentation of the main achievements of 2025 and the projected products for 2026 by each area and department of the Head Office. • Distribution of goals by coordination for the year 2026. The meeting also included a keynote speech on Cybersecurity, given by speaker Ing. Darian Vargas, an expert in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, under the theme “The future that awaits us”.
