Santo Domingo.- During the inaugural act of the XXIV Version of Vacaciones CTN: Expo Feria 2026, Mr. Miguel Calzada León, president of CTN, presented awards to personalities in the tourism sector who play and have played a leading role in the country’s tourism industry.
This year, entrepreneurs Julio and Emilia Rosario of Emely Tours were recognized for their 48 years since founding, consolidating nearly half a century of leadership in the sector. It was highlighted that it is “a pioneering travel agency in the Dominican Republic, which has carried out and continues to carry out unwavering work in such an important field with a 100% family-oriented character and in the most professional manner.”

Also, Gary de Arriba was recognized for his work as an ambassador for Dominican destinations, inspiring people to discover the cultural, natural, and human richness that distinguishes our tourism as an engine of development.
Similarly, an award was presented to William Ramos for his outstanding career as a content creator and tourism influencer, as well as for his invaluable contribution to the promotion of the destinations, natural, cultural, and historical attractions of the Dominican Republic.
