Deep South route minibus catches fire in Azua; no casualties reported

Azua.– A minibus belonging to the Deep South route was completely destroyed after catching fire this Tuesday afternoon in the province of Azua, with no casualties or injuries reported.

According to preliminary reports, the vehicle was consumed by flames in a few minutes, which caused concern among drivers and citizens who were passing through the area at the time of the incident.

Witnesses indicated that the occupants managed to abandon the vehicle in time, avoiding major consequences. The fire reduced the minibus to ashes and caused total material losses.

So far, the authorities have not established the causes that originated the fire. Competent agencies are carrying out the corresponding investigations to determine the circumstances in which the event occurred.
