Deport ‘El Mello Loco’ and ‘El Mello Sangriento’ from Puerto Rico for assault in Cristo Rey
Santo Domingo.– The National Police reported that it received as deportees from Puerto Rico the brothers Wilner Rafael Solano García, alias “El Mello Loco”, and Wilmer Rafael Solano García, known as “El Mello Sangriento”, both linked to the assault that occurred at the Popi Oro jewelry store, in the Cristo Rey sector, National District.
The two men, aged 22, arrived in the country through the Sans Souci tourist terminal aboard the Kydon vessel, owned by the company Ferries del Caribe, where they were handed over to the Dominican authorities.
The operation was coordinated between the General Directorate of Migration, the Repatriated Unit of the Public Ministry, and the National Central Bureau (NCB-Interpol) Santo Domingo, with the support of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol of Puerto Rico.
Upon their arrival, both were taken into custody by agents of the National Police’s Department of Crimes and Property Offenses.
