Santo Domingo.- Citizens denounce the abandonment by the municipal authorities of Santo Domingo Este, through an audiovisual sent to the editorial staff of De Último Minuto, they point out the precarious conditions in which they live due to the accumulation of garbage, stagnant water that emanates a strong stench and clogged drains. In Federico Velásquez street, corner of September 11th, in the Los Frailes I sector, the lack of asphalt has caused considerable damage to the vehicles of the inhabitants, who claim to feel forgotten by the authorities.

“Yo tengo más de 15 años viviendo aquí y esta calle donde nunca ha sido asfaltada. Es como si los que vivimos aquí no existiéramos”,

expresó una residente afectada.
The residents urgently call on the mayor Dio Astacio and the Ministry of Public Works and Communications to intervene in the area and solve the problems affecting the health and quality of life of hundreds of families in the sector.
