DNCD and Public Ministry carry out raids in the East; several people arrested and alleged controlled substances seized

Santo Domingo.– The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) reported this Saturday on the execution, in conjunction with the Public Ministry, of various raids in the eastern part of the country, where controlled substances were seized, several people were arrested, and objects used to facilitate the illegal operation were confiscated.

The anti-drug institution reported that these interventions were carried out last Friday in San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor, Juan Dolio, and Monte Plata.

In the seven raids and 95 interdiction operations carried out, nine people were arrested and more than 3,580.20 grams of different narcotic substances were seized. Likewise, RD$5,150 pesos, four cell phones, a communication radio, and two scales were seized.
