SANTO DOMINGO OESTE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.- The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) and representatives of the Public Ministry reported this Friday that they carried out several raids in the El Café de Herrera and La Rosa sectors of this district, where several people were arrested and alleged controlled substances were seized, along with objects and cash.
As a result of the interventions, two points of sale and distribution of narcotic substances were dismantled, allegedly linked to an individual whose location is being actively sought, resulting in the detention of six people for investigation purposes.
During the operations, 145 portions of a white powder, presumably cocaine, with an approximate weight of 3,066.4 grams were seized, as well as seven portions of a vegetable substance, presumably marijuana, with an approximate weight of 9.6 grams.
Also seized were two machete-type bladed weapons, four scales, ten surveillance cameras, a monitor, a cell phone, and the sum of three thousand two hundred Dominican pesos (RD$3,200.00) in cash.
The detainees and the seized evidence were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes. @ozunainformard
