The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Friday, July 10, as follows:
Financial Institutions reported a purchase rate of RD$57.62 and a selling rate of RD$60.47.
In the last month, a depreciation of -1.12% in the purchase and -1.01% in the sale is observed.
In the Remittance and Exchange Agents segment, the dollar was quoted at RD$58.54 for purchase and RD$59.68 for sale.
This translates to an appreciation of 0.10% in the purchase rate, although the selling rate experienced a minimal depreciation of -0.01%, compared to the previous day.
The most recent data from the foreign exchange market survey, conducted by the International Department and the Sub-directorate of Domestic Exchange Affairs of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, indicate that the US dollar has maintained a downward trend, which translates into a strengthening of the national currency compared to the levels recorded at the end of last year.
