The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Friday, July 3, as follows:
At bank counters and other financial institutions, the dollar purchase rate stood at RD$57.67, while the selling rate reached RD$60.48.
In terms of daily variation, a slight depreciation of the peso of -0.02% was observed in the purchase, while in the sale a marginal appreciation of 0.04% was recorded compared to the previous day.
For their part, exchange agents reported a purchase rate of RD$58.59 and a selling rate of RD$59.87.
As in the banking sector, daily movements were minimal, with a depreciation of the peso of just -0.03% in the purchase and an appreciation of 0.02% in the sale.
The Dominican foreign exchange market shows a notable appreciation of the peso against the US dollar at the close of the previous day’s session, according to the report from the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.
