The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Monday, January 2, 2026, as follows:
Financial entities presented an average buying rate of RD$61.97 and a selling rate of RD$63.84.
These values reflect a slight daily depreciation, calculated at 0.08% for buying and 0.02% for selling.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported slightly higher over-the-counter rates in the purchase, standing at RD$62.64, while the sale was positioned at RD$63.55.
In this sector, daily behavior also showed a depreciation of 0.08% in the purchase.
