The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Thursday, July 16, as follows:

In financial institutions, the purchase rate stood at RD$57.37, reflecting a daily appreciation of the peso (or depreciation of the dollar) of 0.06% compared to the previous day.

For its part, the selling rate closed at RD$60.22, with a similar movement of 0.12%

Remittance and Exchange Agents: In this sector, the dollar was bought at RD$58.24 and sold at RD$59.25.

These agents recorded a more pronounced daily appreciation of the peso, of 0.25% in the purchase and 0.30% in the sale.

The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, through its Division of Statistics and Foreign Exchange Market Regulation, presented the results of the daily survey on the buying and selling rates of the US dollar at the window, confirming a marked trend of depreciation of the currency against the Dominican peso so far this year.
